The Long Winters' new album, Putting the Days to Bed (Barsuk Records), comes out on July 25th, and what I've heard so far doesn't disappoint. It's been three years since John Roderick's last album, and it's obvious he and his band have put a lot of time and effort into their new music. I really enjoy the first track on the album, Pushover (listen below), and the rest of the album is quickly growing on me. I'll have a full review in two weeks, after I've had a chance to soak it in during next week's hiatus...
