Sketches of Frank Gehry

If you enjoy Dwell Magazine, modern architecture or good documentaries, I recommend Sketches of Frank Gehry by Sydney Pollack. A friend loaned me the DVD, and I watched it this afternoon.

The film discusses how Gehry became the world-renowned architect that he is today and showcases some of his most-known works, such as the Guggenheim Museum in Bilbao, Spain. And since Pollock and Gehry are friends, there is a very relaxed quality about the film, which drew me in quickly.

Since the film is only an hour and fifteen minutes, it's a nice choice when you don't want to watch a long movie or be bored by TV.
