Yes, an animated robot made me all teary-eyed. Pixar's WALL-E is just as good as last year's Ratatouille, but it's a film made more for adults than children. There are some humorous bits, but Toy Story it's not. WALL-E is social commentary brought to you from a dystopian future. Sure, it's a robot love story too, but the heart of the film revolves around the earth and how the human race lays waste to its ecosystem. I'm guessing Al Gore is a fan.
