Even though I live in Charleston, SC, I still view North Carolina as my home. Not so much Fayetteville, where I grew up, but Chapel Hill and the RTP, where I went to college and landed my first job. So I was very happy yesterday when North Carolina was called for President-elect Obama. It's nice to see a red, southern state turn blue - Carolina blue.
