I heard a great story this morning on NPR regarding the The East Village Community School's current fundraiser, an album of music starring the school's students. Since the school has a diverse student body, the songs hail from "Iraq, Tibet, Nigeria, Spain, Mauritius, Ireland, England and the United States."
