Josh Ritter has a nice write-up in the June 2006 issue of No Depression and a new album, Animal Years (V2) on record store shelves. One track off the album, Girl in the War, was featured on Paste Magazine's Sampler #20 and is one of the best songs I've heard this year - if not the best. I'll be picking up this album tomorrow along with another V2 record, Broken Boy Soldiers by The Raconteurs - it should be a nice day at the record store.
